Scrap metal collection

Here is everything you need to know about scrap metal

The cost-effectiveness of letting us collect your scrap metal

Mistakes can happen

The biggest risk involved in disposing of scrap metal by yourself is the chance that the materials can cause damage to your property, vehicle or employees. This can result in unwanted costs for insurance or liability.

Fortunately, we have been removing scrap metal and large industrial machinery for years now and we have a very experienced team who can take care of your scrap quickly and efficiently. We also have liability insurance in the unlikely event that something does go wrong, although that has never happened before.

Don't waste time and money

Nine times out of ten, collection of scrap metal is absolutely free. This means that you can deal with your scrap problem without paying any money at all. Even if there is a charge, you will still save time and money compared to purchasing a skip and we will do all the heavy lifting for you!

Don't waste your time or the time of your employees, let us come and do what we do best!

Beware the rogue traders

Rogue traders in the industry have also been causing a lot of problems which is why new legislation was recently introduced to help deal with theft and illegal tipping, resulting from rogue traders. We would implore you to always use a professional scrap removal service, even if you don't chose us!

We take it all

Unlike some scrap traders, we take all types of scrap metal which you can see on the list to the right. Light iron, heavy iron, copper, brass, aluminium gunmetal, stainless steel, electric motors & transformers. No need to use multiple dealers or visit scrap yards all day; we will take it all!

LIGHT IRON (Frag Feed) which is mostly domestic scrap metal such as washing machines, dishwashers, cookers, microwaves and light commercial items.

HEAVY IRON (Shearing) which is mostly commercial machinery, RSJ's, Rebar, and generally found in items that are much heavier then frag feed.

COPPER in all forms such as dry bright wire, household cable, 'number two' copper cable, burnt wire, copper tube, braizery copper and mixed.

BRASS in all forms including old taps, rad valves, stop cocks, old plumbing fittings, and other fixtures.

ALUMINIUM is nearly always used to make items such as ladders, scaffolding, window frames, blinds and other similar items in varying grades.

GUNMETAL we don't see much of this metal these days but it used to be used a lot to make valves including plumbing fittings.

STAINLESS STEEL comes in many forms such as sinks, commercial kitchens, pot's & pan's, hospital equipment, medical departments, surgical instruments and in many places where moisture is present.

ELECTRIC MOTORS & TRANSFORMERS are found in everyday items such as hoovers, microwaves, televisions, and pretty much in every electrical appliance.

Remember, scrap metal is our area of expertise.

If you're looking for a professional, responsible and efficient company to collect your scrap metal, then you have definitely come to the right place.
